ACCESSIBILITY
Our approach to making Dorm Butler usable for everyone.
Effective September 9, 2026
Last Updated October 1, 2026
1. OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY
Dorm Butler is committed to making our website, digital content, communications, and customer service experience usable by students, parents, guests, and other customers with a wide range of abilities.
We believe customers should be able to access important information about our services, understand how to use our website, communicate with Dorm Butler, and request assistance when an accessibility barrier affects their experience.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As our website, services, technology, content, and customer experience develop, we will continue to identify opportunities to improve accessibility and reduce barriers.
We aim to provide a clear, understandable, and usable experience while recognizing that accessibility can vary depending on a person’s device, browser, assistive technology, internet connection, and other circumstances outside our direct control.
2. SCOPE OF THIS STATEMENT
This Accessibility Statement primarily applies to the Dorm Butler website and the digital customer experience associated with our services.
This includes, where applicable:
• Website pages and navigation
• Digital forms
• Customer account areas
• Service request processes
• Online service information
• Digital communications
• Legal and service documents
• Images and visual content
• Interactive website features
• Mobile website experiences
• Customer support and communication channels
This Statement may also address accessibility considerations related to the services we provide.
Some parts of the Dorm Butler experience may involve third party websites, applications, payment services, communication systems, campus systems, housing providers, or other technology and service providers. Dorm Butler does not control every aspect of those third party environments.
When a third party system or location creates an accessibility barrier that affects a Dorm Butler customer, we encourage the customer to contact us so we can determine whether an alternative method of assistance or communication is reasonably available.
3. WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY
Dorm Butler aims to maintain a website that can be used by people with different abilities and different methods of interacting with digital content.
Our accessibility efforts may include:
• Clear page structure
• Meaningful headings
• Readable text
• Descriptive links and buttons
• Clear labels and instructions
• Logical navigation
• Keyboard friendly interaction where technically supported
• Appropriate focus indicators where applicable
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate
• Clear presentation of important information
• Mobile friendly layouts
• Consistent navigation and page structure
• Understandable forms and interactive elements
• Clear error information where applicable
Our website is continuously changing as pages, features, content, and technology are added or updated. As a result, some areas may require additional improvement.
We do not represent that every portion of the website is accessible to every person using every device, browser, assistive technology, or method of interaction at all times.
4. NAVIGATION AND PAGE STRUCTURE
Dorm Butler aims to organize website information in a way that helps customers understand where they are and what they can do.
Where appropriate, this includes descriptive page titles, organized headings, logical content order, clear navigation, meaningful button labels, understandable calls to action, and consistent placement of important information.
Our goal is to make it easier for customers to locate service information, understand available options, access legal and service policies, and determine how to contact Dorm Butler when assistance is needed.
5. KEYBOARD AND NON MOUSE ACCESS
Dorm Butler aims to support customers who navigate websites using a keyboard or other methods that do not depend exclusively on a mouse.
Where technically supported, interactive controls should be identifiable and usable without requiring a customer to rely solely on mouse movement.
If a customer encounters a feature that cannot reasonably be accessed using their preferred method of navigation, we encourage them to contact Dorm Butler and report the barrier.
6. TEXT, READABILITY, AND VISUAL PRESENTATION
Dorm Butler aims to present information in a clear and readable manner.
Our accessibility considerations include:
• Readable typography
• Clear heading hierarchy
• Appropriate spacing between content
• Understandable labels
• Clear distinction between important information and surrounding content
• Straightforward instructions
• Avoiding unnecessary visual complexity
• Presenting important information in more than one way when appropriate
We continue to review and improve the presentation of website content as the site develops.
7. IMAGES AND ALTERNATIVE TEXT
Dorm Butler aims to provide meaningful alternative text for images when alternative text is appropriate.
Images that communicate important information should not unnecessarily be the only way that information is presented.
Decorative images may not require descriptive alternative text when they do not provide information necessary to understand or use the page.
Because website content changes over time, some images or older content may require additional accessibility improvements.
Customers who encounter an image that prevents them from understanding important information are encouraged to contact Dorm Butler for assistance.
8. FORMS AND CUSTOMER INPUT
Dorm Butler aims to make online forms and customer input areas understandable and usable.
Where applicable, this includes:
• Clear field labels
• Understandable instructions
• Clear indications when information is required
• Logical field order
• Understandable error messages
• Clear submission controls
• Avoiding unnecessary requests for information
If a customer cannot complete a Dorm Butler form because of an accessibility barrier, the customer may contact Dorm Butler for assistance.
Dorm Butler will review the situation and determine a reasonable way to assist with the requested information or service process.
9. MOBILE ACCESSIBILITY
Customers may access Dorm Butler through smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, and other devices.
Dorm Butler aims to maintain a usable experience across commonly used devices and screen sizes.
Because devices, operating systems, browsers, screen sizes, and accessibility settings vary, Dorm Butler cannot guarantee that every feature will operate identically across every device or configuration.
If a customer experiences an accessibility barrier on a mobile device, we encourage the customer to contact Dorm Butler and describe the issue so it can be reviewed.
10. ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Customers may use assistive technologies and accessibility features when interacting with the Dorm Butler website.
These may include:
• Screen readers
• Screen magnification
• Voice control
• Keyboard navigation
• Browser accessibility features
• Operating system accessibility settings
Dorm Butler aims to maintain a digital experience that supports accessibility technologies where reasonably practicable.
Because assistive technologies and third party software vary, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every technology, device, browser, or configuration.
If a customer encounters a compatibility issue that affects access to important Dorm Butler information or services, the customer may contact Dorm Butler for assistance.
11. DIGITAL CONTENT AND DOCUMENTS
Dorm Butler aims to make digital information understandable and accessible.
This may include:
• Website content
• Service information
• Legal policies
• Service policies
• Customer instructions
• Digital communications
• Online forms
• Other documents made available electronically
If a customer cannot access important information because of an accessibility barrier, the customer may contact Dorm Butler and request assistance obtaining the information through another reasonably available communication method.
12. CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility extends beyond the website.
Dorm Butler wants customers to have a reasonable way to communicate with us when a digital barrier prevents them from accessing information, completing a request, or using a website feature.
Customers may contact Dorm Butler if they need assistance accessing information or communicating about a Dorm Butler service.
Dorm Butler will review the request and work with the customer to identify a reasonable method of providing the requested information or assistance when appropriate.

13. SERVICE ACCESSIBILITY
Some accessibility considerations involve the physical environment in which a Dorm Butler service takes place rather than the Dorm Butler website itself.
Dorm Butler services may involve residence halls, campus facilities, designated pickup locations, delivery locations, housing providers, campus rules, building access requirements, and other environments operated or controlled by third parties.
Dorm Butler may not control the accessibility features, entrances, elevators, parking areas, pickup locations, delivery areas, building policies, or other physical conditions of a campus, residence hall, housing provider, or other third party location.
When a customer identifies an accessibility related concern involving a requested service, Dorm Butler will review the circumstances and determine what assistance or alternative arrangement may reasonably be available within the scope of the requested service.
Dorm Butler cannot guarantee access to a building, room, residence hall, elevator, parking area, campus facility, or other location that Dorm Butler does not control.
14. THIRD PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES
Some features used in connection with the Dorm Butler website or customer experience may be provided by third parties.
These may include, where applicable:
• Payment systems
• Scheduling or booking systems
• Communication systems
• Embedded content
• Maps
• Social media features
• External websites
• Other technology platforms
Dorm Butler does not control the accessibility design or functionality of third party platforms.
If a third party feature is necessary to complete a Dorm Butler service and a customer encounters an accessibility barrier, the customer may contact Dorm Butler.
Dorm Butler will determine whether an alternative process or reasonable assistance is available.
15. KNOWN OR POTENTIAL LIMITATIONS
Websites and digital services are continuously evolving.
Some pages, older content, newly introduced features, third party components, or other digital elements may not currently provide the same accessibility experience.
Dorm Butler does not represent that every element of the website is accessible to every person at every time.
This does not mean accessibility is unimportant. It means that accessibility is an ongoing process involving website development, content updates, technology changes, third party systems, and customer feedback.
When an accessibility barrier is brought to our attention, we will review the issue and determine an appropriate response.
16. ONGOING ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT
Dorm Butler intends to consider accessibility as the website, services, technology, and content develop.
Accessibility improvements may include:
• Improving website navigation
• Improving page structure
• Improving labels and instructions
• Improving alternative text
• Reviewing forms and interactive elements
• Improving the presentation of important information
• Addressing identified website barriers
• Improving digital content
• Responding to customer accessibility feedback
• Considering accessibility when new website features are introduced
Accessibility improvements may occur over time rather than all at once.
17. REPORTING AN ACCESSIBILITY BARRIER
We encourage customers to tell us when something on the Dorm Butler website or service experience is difficult to use because of an accessibility barrier.
Customers may report difficulty accessing:
• A website page
• A form
• A button or interactive feature
• Important service information
• A digital document
• A customer communication
• A service related process
When possible, customers may include:
• The page or feature where the problem occurred
• A description of the barrier
• The device or browser being used, if known
• The assistive technology being used, if relevant
• What the customer was trying to accomplish
• A preferred method of contact
Customers do not need to provide information they cannot provide or do not wish to provide.

Customers may also use the existing Dorm Butler contact page where available.
When reporting an accessibility issue, providing the page or feature involved and describing what prevented access can help us understand and investigate the issue.
19. REQUESTING INFORMATION OR ASSISTANCE IN AN ALTERNATIVE FORMAT
If a customer cannot access information through the Dorm Butler website because of an accessibility barrier, the customer may contact Dorm Butler and request assistance obtaining the information through another reasonably available method.
Depending on the information requested and the circumstances, assistance may be provided through email, telephone, or another available communication method.
Dorm Butler will review the request and determine an appropriate way to assist.
20. RESPONSE TO ACCESSIBILITY REPORTS
Dorm Butler will review reported accessibility barriers based on the nature of the issue, the service or website feature involved, available technology, and the circumstances of the request.
Some issues may be addressed directly by Dorm Butler.
Other issues may require coordination with a website provider, technology provider, service provider, campus, housing provider, or another third party.
Dorm Butler cannot guarantee that every reported issue will be immediately resolved or that every third party issue can be corrected by Dorm Butler.
Our goal is to understand the barrier, determine what assistance may reasonably be available, and improve the customer experience when possible.
21. PRIVACY AND ACCESSIBILITY REQUESTS
Customers should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information when reporting an accessibility issue.
If a customer voluntarily provides personal information when requesting accessibility assistance, Dorm Butler will handle that information in accordance with the Dorm Butler Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Dorm Butler collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information.
22. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER DORM BUTLER POLICIES
This Accessibility Statement is one part of the Dorm Butler legal and customer information framework.
It should be read together with the Dorm Butler Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Service Policies, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and SMS and Text Messaging Terms, as applicable.
This Accessibility Statement does not replace, modify, or override those documents.
Each document addresses a different aspect of the Dorm Butler customer experience.
23. NO GUARANTEE OF PERFECT ACCESSIBILITY
Dorm Butler cannot guarantee that every part of the website, every digital feature, every third party platform, or every service environment will be accessible to every person at every time.
Accessibility may be affected by factors including technology changes, browser or device differences, assistive technology compatibility, third party services, campus or housing environments, internet connectivity, and other circumstances outside Dorm Butler’s control.
The existence of a limitation does not prevent customers from contacting Dorm Butler for assistance.
24. CHANGES TO THIS ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Dorm Butler may update this Accessibility Statement as our website, services, technology, practices, or accessibility efforts change.
When this Statement is updated, the revised version will be posted on the Dorm Butler website with an updated effective date or last updated date where appropriate.
Customers are encouraged to review this Statement periodically for changes.
